This sums up my experience in Bangladesh and Cambodia as well. The resilency of the human spirit is remarkable, especially considering what both these places have been through and continue to deal with. The beautiful people of these countries have taught me that while in many cases they are financially poor, the richness of their spirit is a wealth that cannot be taken away.
